Gordano Rugby Club
Background
- This project was to undertake construction works to bring their rugby pitches up to a high standard in accordance with an historic planning permission.
- This had to be quickly implemented to ensure the new facilities were of a playable standard in time for the new season’s fixture requirements.
- Construction work included:
- Earthworks
- Insertion of drainage
- Provision of newly turfed
- playing surfaces.
Timescales
- 2 months, delivered on time.
Our involvement
- We worked closely with the club to ensure that the relevant planning conditions applying to their permission had been met.
- The works involved significant importation of material through a small village – without causing disturbance to residents. This was done by preparing a detailed routing plan and transport strategy.
- We managed the entire construction and finishing process.
