Background

• This large project involved the redevelopment quality and improvement of an existing low quality 18 and 9 hole golf course.
• The result is one of the highest quality golf courses in Bristol - incorporating significant ecological features including new planted and wildflower areas, ponds and lakes.
• Construction included:
  - Earthworks
  - Insertion of drainage
  - Landscaping and creation of
  - greens, bunkers and water
  - features.

Timescales

• 36 months, delivered on time.

Our involvement

• We controlled the project from start to finish, from planning through construction.
• The ongoing works were phased sensitively to allow the club to continue to operate as a business throughout the project – generating a revenue stream and retaining members.
• We ensured at least 9 holes were playable at any one time.
